One Wire Conversion Kits:

For Delco 10si, 12si and 15si alternators (GM 1970-1986). The standard kit contains an AC excited regulator, connecting wires, insulated screws, terminal protection cover and full instructions. The kits with bearings and brushes contain an SRE bearing and a pulley bearing.

The AC excited regulator is a very low turn on regulator which avoids the problems of high turn on speeds associated with some of the more conventional self excited regulators. Our internal lab testing shows more than a 50% lower turn on speed. This regulator does not require a diode trio. If you have had problems in the past with unacceptable alternator turn on speed, this regulator will solve that problem. All that is required for the alternator to operate after conversion is a battery wire connection to the BAT terminal on the alternator.

The One Wire Conversion Kit is available in two different packages:
1. The standard One Wire Kit.
2. The One Wire Kit with bearing, brushes and brush holders. (see picture below)
